Invoices

Please take the time to read over your invoice to make sure all details are correct and you are happy with the items provided.

Payments and Bonds

Please refer to your invoice for due dates and pricing. Please note to secure you booking deposit payment is required within 48 hrs of acceptance of quote. A higher deposit and bond may be charged based on items being hired.

Damages or Loss

You are required to pay a bond on all hire items. This bond is to cover any breakages, loss, chips or loss of hire items. Any breakages, loss or damage to the items hired will be reported to the hirer within 3 working days of its return and will be charged at full replacement cost as determined by Amity Events which will be discussed with you once we have determined what this may be.

If the bond not cover the full cost of damaged, chipped or loss of goods, we will send you an invoice for the items, payable within 7 days of your date of hire.

DO NOT leave any items that can get damaged outside, due to weather conditions.

Linen / Rugs and Cushions

If Linen, Rugs or Cushions are returned and requires deep cleaning such as professional steam cleaning you will be notified as to how much of your bond will be kept to do so. This charge will be at our discretion and photos can be provided to you of these items.

Do not leave any Linen, Rugs or Cushions Outside . Please make sure that any Linen Rugs or Cushions are dry and free of debris before being packed.

Liability

Amity Events accepts no responsibility for damage or injury caused to person(s) or products as a result of this hire arrangement.

You the hirer are responsible for the hired items from the time of collection or delivery until returned or collection by Amity Events. All items remain the property of Amity Events.

Please note upon collection of props and hire items Amity Events will pop and dispose of balloons upon collection if you choose not to keep balloons.

If you are keeping balloons Amity Events accepts no responsibility for damage or injury caused to person(s), over time balloons will deflate once this happens balloon became a chocking hazard.

Weather

Please note upon set up of props and hire items Amity Events reserve the right to refuse to set up and leave items due to safety reason, Amity Events will evaluate if the weather is a risk for the item falling and getting damaged or falling on someone.

Please make sure alternative options and backup plans are available

Delivery

Please refer to your invoice for delivery pricing. A higher delivery fee may be charged based on certain items being hired. This will be decided on upon time of booking.

Collection

We only offer collection for certain items in our hire list.

Please keep in mind we are not a retail store so we are not open to the public, and we may not always be on site which is why a pickup time is always discussed prior to the day of pickup. We have the right to turn away any vehicles that are not suitable for collection of our items as the quality and safety is our priority. If we need to do this we will have to arrange an alternate time for you to return to collect your items with a suitable vehicle.

Hire Period

Hire period is overnight.

If you wish to hire for longer than the standard hire period please request this at time of order and you will be provided with a quotation for the extra days of hire.

If hired goods are retained for a longer period without prior consent from Amity Events you will be charged 50% of your total order for each extra day they are not returned.

Cancellations

Please see below our cancellation policy.

All cancellations of either full orders or part thereof must be made in writing by the hirer to ‘Amity Events’ and the following charges will apply:

All orders that are cancelled within the terms and conditions below. If you choose to cancel your event the following below cancelation fees will apply.

• 14 days or more days before your event a $100.00
• 13 days – 7 Days $150.00
• 6 days or Less – Full Invoice Amount is forfeited

Please Note- Any fees charged to Amity Events from outsourced or other supplies will be passed onto you the client. If unforeseen circumstances occur and your event is unable to go ahead due to these such circumstances please contact Amity Events as soon as possible to discuss alternate arrangements.

Under special circumstances as decided upon by Amity Events, a Credit Voucher may be issued to be used for money’s paid towards your original order within 12 months from cancellation, or your order transferred to a new date as agreed upon by both parties.

Rescheduling

Please see below our policy for Rescheduling –

All rescheduling of either full orders or part thereof must be made in writing by the hirer to ‘Amity Events’ at the earliest connivence . If you choose to reschedule your event the following below fees will apply:

• 14 + Days from the hire date- $50.00
• Between 13 – 6 Days from the hire date- $100.00
• 5 Days or less from the hire date $150.00

Please Note- Any fees charged to Amity Events from outsourced or other supplies will be passed onto you the client.

Venue & Delivery Changes

Please see below our change of venue / delivery address policy.

Any changes made to delivery address will be charged according, as delivery is calculated per address and duration of the drive. We will try our best to work this within our schedule/ other books on the same day. We can not guarantee we will be available. Our booking scheduling is arranged weeks in advance and on some occasions we may NOT be available as we work on tight schedules to make sure we service all of our clients.

Agreement

Your signature on this document is deemed that you have read, understood and accepted our Terms & Conditions.

If you do not fill in this form and return it back to us prior to collection/delivery of your items then we will deem these conditions agreed upon when payment is made.
